ABOUT TROUPE SHABAANA
Welcome! We are a troupe of authentic belly dancers that have been performing in the Cleveland, Ohio area since 2002. We practice a blend of cabaret, fusion and tribal styles of dance and rank from beginners to experts of all ages.
Troupe Shabaana is available to perform at almost any special event...benefit shows, parties, weddings...wether you are looking for a full troupe or an individual dancer for a Belly-Gram! IN MEMORY OF ANGIE...
Today we celebrate the life - and mourn the passing - of our sister in dance, Angie (Michelakis) Janusz.
Angie was passionate about her family...and belly dancing! She was at once sweet, shy and funny, but with a "mom" look that could stop a rowdy patron in their tracks!
As we dance, we know that Angie will always be with us, that we are all part of a long proud line of women, celebrating life with joy, energy and sisterly love.
In loving memory of our sister in dance, May your spirit sparkle in heaven as much as it did while you were here with us.
We miss you! You are in our hearts, always and forever.
